Ansys、OnScale社の買収によりクラウドポートフォリオを拡大

OnScale社のクラウドネイティブでウェブベースのユーザーインターフェースとフレームワークがAnsysのクラウドポートフォリオを拡充

主なハイライト

•  Ansysの現行のマーケットプレイスとマネージドクラウドポートフォリオで、フル機能のユーザーインターフェース（UI）を介し、Ansysの業界随一のシミュレーション技術にどこからでもスケーラブルなアクセスが可能です。
• OnScale社のクラウドネイティブでウェブベースのユーザーインターフェースが加わることにより、Ansysのポートフォリオが拡張されます。
• OnScale社の技術がAnsysのポートフォリオに統合されることにより、どのようなデバイスからでも、フル機能のUIまたは新たなウェブベースのUIを介して、Ansysのシミュレーションにアクセスし、利用可能になります。
• OnScale社の技術は、Ansysの従来の拡張可能なプラットフォーム中心の手法にも対応し、シミュレーションベースの市場に特化した新たなアプリケーションを実現します。

ペンシルバニア州ピッツバーグ、2022年4月13日 – Ansys (NASDAQ: ANSS) はクラウドシミュレーションを提供するOnScale社を買収する正式契約を締結したことを本日発表しました。今回の取得される技術は、Ansysの既存のクラウドポートフォリオに統合されることにより、クラウドネイティブでウェブベースのユーザーインターフェース（UI）が提供され、Ansysの幅広いシミュレーション技術にデバイスを問わずにアクセスできるようになります。契約詳細は非公開です。この買収によるAnsysの2022年度連結決算に対する影響は軽微である見込みです。

現在、Ansysの業界随一のクラウドポートフォリオには、マーケットプレイス製品（AWS上のAnsys Gateway）とマネージドクラウド製品（Azure上で稼働するAnsys Cloud）があり、ユーザーはどこからでもスケーラブルなAnsysシミュレーションへのアクセスが可能になります。また、PyAnsys（Ansysの広範囲の開発エコシステム向けオープンソースのPython APIソフトウェアパッケージ）は，シミュレーションによる新たな市場またはユースケースに特化したアプリケーションの開発および導入のために、拡張可能なプラットフォーム中心の手法を提供しています。これらの機能や新たに生み出されるアプリケーションは、使い勝手のよいウェブベースのUIを実現するOnScale社のクラウドネイティブのフレームワークが加わることにより、一層強化されることになります。
