Ansys and AWS are perpetually trying to improve the cloud migration for their customers. Cloud computing today is much more advanced than a couple of years ago. One of the main challenges to cloud adoption faced by IT managers is the time to get onboarded on the cloud. To make migration as streamlined as possible, Ansys recently released a new feature on Ansys Gateway powered by AWS called Express Setup. Let’s take a deep dive in!
To properly setup Ansys Gateway powered by AWS, your company's Active Directory (AD) is synchronized with Ansys Gateway powered by AWS during the setup process. The IT administrator adds selected user accounts to Ansys Gateway powered by AWS security groups created on your company's AD server. Some customers are already skilled with AD settings and know how to set up and get the best out of it. For other customers, AD could be seen as a barrier to quickly moving to the cloud. In addition to the already existing AD process, Express Setup removes that barrier for customers who don’t want to set up AD or worry about it.
Express Setup is a new feature designed to simplify and expedite the setup process for Ansys Gateway powered by AWS. By minimizing IT-related steps and reducing complexities, we provide users with a seamless and hassle-free experience when getting started. With Express Setup, IT administrators with full AWS administration permissions can configure and deploy their cloud-based solution, allowing them to focus on their core tasks and objectives right from the beginning.
Some of the many benefits to Express Setup include:
With Express Setup, AWS IT administrators can complete onboarding Ansys Gateway powered by AWS in only few minutes.
