In this webinar, the 3rd in a 4-part series, will examine Ansys Charge Plus and its solver technology. The discussion will also bring to light the many integrations completed or underway at both the physics and interface levels with other Ansys tools. The lecture will then transition to exploring the many industries and products which can benefit from using Ansys Charge Plus solver technology and tool integrations. Finally, we'll present specific examples in the Aerospace and Semiconductor sectors.

Kevin Druis-Merenda

Kevin-Druis Merenda is a Staff Scientist at Electro Magnetic Applications, Inc (EMA), where he is the Product Manager for Ansys Charge Plus. He joined EMA in 2020 to apply his atmospheric electricity and elementary particle physics background to impactful industry projects. With involvement in extensive physics experiments such as the NA62 and LHCB experiments at CERN, or the Pierre Auger Cosmic-Ray Observatory, in Argentina, he knows that every bit of efficiency is needed to achieve the imposed deadlines. Kevin developed strong communication skills by presenting at conferences and publishing journal articles on studying lightning-induced transient luminous events. His knowledge of numerical methods, approach to problem diagnostics, and data analysis skills are directly applicable to consulting projects involving Ansys EMC Plus and Ansys Charge Plus, the software products developed by EMA.
