Overview

The operations phase of the space mission life cycle is the culmination of the mission team’s efforts in designing and building the hardware and software required to execute the mission.

In this webinar, we will reveal how digital engineering techniques and artifacts from previous life cycle phases can support operations and sustainment and the desire for automated and interactive workflows.

In particular, we will discuss several important responsibilities of the mission operations team, including performing orbit determination to maintain an accurate knowledge of the spacecraft trajectory, scheduling payload and orbit-maintenance activities to fulfill mission objectives, and practicing responsible space stewardship through collision avoidance during the mission lifetime followed by reentry or disposal to a graveyard orbit.

What Attendees will Learn

In particular, the webinar will cover:

  • How digital engineering techniques and artifacts from previous life cycle phases can support operations and sustainment and the desire for automated and interactive workflows
