Ansys Speos GPU was recognized among the best by the 2023 Laser Focus World Innovators Awards. An esteemed and experienced panel of judges from the optics and photonics community recognized Ansys as a Silver honoree.
Speos is of great value for the design and validation of optical systems. It predicts the illumination and optical performance of systems to save on prototyping time and costs while improving a product's efficiency.
The Speos GPU solver comprises two features embedded in Speos, both revolutionizing workflows:
“It’s a great honor to be recognized by the Laser Focus World Awards Committee for our continuing efforts to enhance the speed and functionality of Speos,” says Mathieu Reigneau, senior product manager at Ansys. “The award validates all the hard work of our development team to provide our optics simulation customers with the tools they need. We are grateful for this award.”
The LFW Innovators Award recognizes products, projects, and applications that stand out as innovative applications of laser and photonics systems. Entries are judged on criteria that include collaboration, community impact, and well-defined marketplace need.
“On behalf of the Laser Focus World Innovators Awards, I would like to congratulate Ansys on their Silver-level honoree status,” said Laser Focus World Group Publisher Peter Fretty. “This competitive program allows Laser Focus World to celebrate and recognize the most innovative products impacting the photonics community this year.”
