Overview
Join us for an insightful webinar where we dive deeper into how Ansys STK, ModelCenter, and the Systems Architect Model (SAM) revolutionize digital engineering and MBSE practices. Discover how these powerful tools can significantly reduce design time and optimize tradeoffs.
This webinar will explore a compelling use case for satellite imaging, focusing on a notional Request for Proposal (RFP) scenario. We’ll discuss the intricacies of designing a system to image unknown satellites in Medium Earth Orbit (MEO), where the Design Reference Mission (DRM) requires an initial satellite to detect the unknown satellites before relaying tasking to a secondary satellite to image the target.
Using a digital thread connecting various engineering tools to SysML, we’ll demonstrate how to evaluate many design variables, including orbital altitude and sensor capability. We aim to achieve optimal design outcomes while balancing cost, imaging time, and image quality requirements.
