Identify the optimal fabrication chain and lowest lens cost with Zemax

The product Lifecycle/Data Management (PLM/PDM) strategy allows for reusing existing designs to save development time and manufacturing and tooling costs and enhance productivity. File-related properties of CAD designs can be indexed in PDM/PLM systems. This includes default properties that are cataloged automatically or custom properties that you can map to parameters or characteristics unique to your designs. Optical design information can also be saved in a PLM system using OpticsBuilder, which rebuilds all the optical components coming from a .ZBD file into Creo native parts.

In this webinar, we discuss how OpticsBuilder enables managing optics-related information in a data management chain of Creo Windchill, where design versions are traced and guarantee that required approvals happen.
