PITTSBURGH, June 15, 2017 – S&P Dow Jones Indices will add Ansys to the S&P 500 Index on June 19, 2017. Reflecting its growth and importance in the market place with a market capitalization greater than $10 billion, Ansys will represent the large-cap market space on the GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Application Software Sub-Industry index.
