Ansys Mechanical
February 26, 2024 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST
Mechanical engine block mesh

In this training, you will learn to carry out the basic end-to-end static structural analysis process in Ansys Mechanical, gain a basic understanding of the factors that affect the efficiency of your solution and the accuracy of your results and have a firm foundation for studying intermediate analysis techniques in Ansys Mechanical.

Ansys HFSS
February 27, 2024 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM PST
PCB Simulation using Ansys HFSS

In this training, we will explore the fundamentals of Ansys HFSS 3D layout and its key features and capabilities. This course covers the overview of 3D layout interface – editor, nets, via padstacks, ports, solution setup, extents, etc. It also covers a workshop, which includes the simulation aspects of a differential pair model in the 3D layout and its analysis. No prior HFSS nor EM simulation experience is required. Knowledge of PCB design and high-speed digital circuit design is recommended.

Ansys SIWAVE
February 28, 2024 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM PST
Discover New CPA Flows in Ansys SIwave

In this training, you will learn the latest techniques on how to apply field solvers coupled with transient circuit simulation to compute TDR of signal nets. With increasing data rates, maintaining signal integrity (SI) has become critical for reliable operation of high speed digital channels. Ansys SIwave offers a wide range of techniques to simulate key SI metrics. Learn the fundamentals of simulating a printed circuit board (PCB) to scan for trace characteristic impedance and determine near end (NEXT) and far end (FEXT) crosstalk violations for all nets on PCB.

Ansys Optics
February 29, 2024 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM PST
Diffractive optics in healthcare

In this training, we will provide the necessary knowledge to get you up and running with OpticStudio sequential mode. You will learn how to model, analyze, and then optimize a simple optical system. The topics covered will include a brief optical review, the graphical user-interface, the Lens Data Editor, and the tools available to modify and analyze optical performance. We will cover some basic features as well, including lens optimization. After this course, you will have all the basic knowledge you need to fire up OpticStudio and design your first simple lens.

Ansys Fluids
March 01, 2024 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM PST
Fluids - Commercial Aircraft Fluent Simulation

In this training, users will learn to work hands on with examples involving pre-processing, setup and analysis of CFD simulations involving fluid flow and heat transfer. The examples will be relevant for modern CFD applications in their industry.
