Ansys and PTC Partner to Create a Digital Twin of an Electric Motor
Watch this video to see how the partnership between Ansys and PTC makes it easy to create a digital twin to measure current, voltage and temperature as a motor is running. Using Ansys Twin Builder and PTC® thingworx®, operators can calculate the real-time temperature of the rotor, stator and case to determine the lifetime of the motor. The digital twin can also predict the future temperature of the motor to optimize the maintenance schedule.
