The Materials of Engineering: an Intro to the Ansys Granta EduPack Software
This lecture serves as an introduction to Ansys Granta EduPack™, a teaching software for materials education. The database structure for both the materials data (MaterialUniverse) and processing data (ProcessUniverse) within the software and the links between them are explained. Basic software functions such as navigation, science notes, and software help are highlighted. This lecture presentation can be used as an introduction for students alongside the lecture “Material Property Chart Basics in Ansys Granta EduPack” (linked below) to familiarize students with the key functionalities of the software before use. Exercises utilizing the content covered in this lecture are also available on the Ansys Education Resources site.
