Materials and design go hand in hand—the optimal product combines the best materials with the best design. Choosing the right materials lets us reduce weight, increase sustainability, lower costs, and overcome engineering challenges at all stages of the design cycle.
But how do you select the right materials from thousands of available materials? How do you trade off competing performance, cost, and manufacturing requirements and then take this data forward into your simulation? In this webinar series, we will explore material selection in Ansys Granta Selector – combining powerful selection techniques with extensive reference data to systematically select the suitable materials for the job for a series of example use cases from multiple industries.
Learn how to systematically select the most appropriate materials for a product at the conceptual design stage, saving cost and development effort.
Learn to select materials for cost, performance, and environmental requirements to reach sustainability goals.
Learn how to reduce the weight of your products with systematic materials selection.
Overcome late-stage design challenges by systematically selecting materials based on new requirements and use cases.
