How to Couple Lumerical & Speos for Diffuse Scattering
In automotive displays, protective films are used to protect the screen from scratches and damage. They also serve additional purposes by reducing glare and reflection and improving the readability of the display. Ansys Lumerical FDTD and Ansys Speos together can model a diffusive scattering film and analyze its impact on the optical performance of an automotive display. This webinar will also demonstrate how the Bidirectional Scattering Distribution Function (BSDF) calculated in FDTD is used in Speos for photometric simulations and Human Vision experience.
