Senior Application Engineer, Ansys

As a Senior Application Engineer, Dr. Chipengo is responsible for researching the most accurate solutions for modeling high frequency electromagnetics application problems. Using Ansys’ computational electromagnetics solvers, Dr. Chipengo leverages his expertise in electromagnetics to solve problems in fields spanning telecommunications, biomedical devices, autonomous vehicles, radiofrequency circuits (RF) and high-power microwave sources. His current research interests include slow wave structures for high power microwave sources, antenna design for automotive applications (V2V, V2I, 5G, RKE, Satellite radio etc.) and automotive radar for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University
  • M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Nicosia, Cyprus
