Exploring Elemental Data with the Ansys Granta EduPack Software
This presentation serves as an overview of the elemental data found within Ansys Granta EduPack™, a teaching software for materials education. The main focus is the Elements database, which is organized as a Periodic Table and includes data such as crystal structure, electronegativity, and more. Examples of how atomic properties can be plotted to show relationships to various material properties are shown. Nuclear properties and resource issues can also be investigated with the data in the Ansys Granta EduPack software. Exercises utilizing the content covered in this lecture are also available on the Ansys Education Resources site.
Note: this data can also be found in other Ansys Granta EduPack software databases, such as Materials Science and Engineering and Sustainability. Exercises with this data can be found in the MS&E and sustainability exercise sets respectively.
