The design and implementation of engaging projects that require students to apply their computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and simulation skills to tackle real-world challenges can be challenging. In this webinar, guest speaker Prof. Yu Feng from Oklahoma State University will share his experience combining Ansys tools and project-based learning (PBL) method to enhance students’ understanding of CFD for healthcare applications.
With benefits like better student engagement, critical thinking, and teamwork, this approach is used in undergraduate and graduate courses and “Longevity” for K-12 students to learn in silico pulmonary healthcare. Digital twin development and its application to biomedical problem solving will be part of the practical examples, and case studies will showcase our successful integration in the course.
What Attendees Will Learn
- How can instructors integrate Ansys into teaching CFD for healthcare for different age groups
- How can instructors prepare the students to the concept of digital twin development using Ansys for biomedical problem solving
- How can instructors integrate "project-based learning" (PBL) into teaching CFD and multiphase modeling for healthcare
- What valuable resources and strategies are available to enrich teaching methodologies, foster student success, and prepare future professionals for complex challenge of biomedical fluid dynamics
