Engineers, both specialists and non-specialists, can work around a standard data set and model. ConceptEV is shareable (permission control) within the organization.

ConceptEV is exclusively used for EV powertrain designs and simulations. Extending this approach to other industries and applications is planned in future releases.

ConceptEV is a SaaS simulation tool accessible via a web browser. It is a simulation software licensed on a subscription basis and centrally hosted on the secure Ansys Cloud Portal. ConceptEV can easily and quickly be set up and accessed by registering directly on the Cloud Portal or contacting your Ansys sales representative.

ConceptEV is an open platform that works with other Ansys tools, such as Ansys optiSLang to investigate the design space exploration analysis, Ansys Motor-CAD for multiphysics motor simulations, and Ansys Maxwell for advanced EM field analysis. ConceptEV can integrate with your existing tools and processes through its Python API.

You can get a free ConceptEV trial by registering directly on the Ansys Portal or contacting your Ansys sales representative.

ConceptEV has an open interface for connecting with other Ansys and existing tools. A Python API is used to automate the workflow.

We intend to provide an EDU mode in ConceptEV where you can alternatively provide EDU-level requirements rather than vehicle-level requirements. In this scenario, considering how the EDU level requirements are derived may be worth considering, particularly with multiple driven axles.
