Ansys Speos 3D Texture

Course Overview

In Speos, the 3D Texture feature allows you to virtually replicate thousands of micro-optics elements when memory limits the creation of geometries in the CAD environment. 

In this course, you are going to set the parameters to create 3D Textures and look at simulation results.

You will also learn how to optimize a 3D Texture, as well as use a script to export it into a geometry.

Prerequisites

  • The completion of Ansys Speos Photometric Analysis Advanced.
  • The completion of Ansys Speos Optimization with DesignXplorer and/or optiSLang Plugin for Optical Applications for the section Optimizing the 3D Texture.

Teaching Method

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge. A training certificate is provided to all attendees who complete the course.

  • Create a pattern on a surface
  • Simulate different types of mapping
  • Run optimizations with DesignXplorer and optiSLang plugin in Workbench
