Prerequisites

  • This course assumes that you have completed Fluent Getting Started training and are already familiar with single phase flow in Ansys Fluent.

  • Understand VOF multiphase model, its applications,​ and the concept of volume fraction​.
  • Activate Multiphase VOF model​, define phases, and patch initial conditions​​.
  • Understand the use of important VOF specific solver settings,​ and concept behind them.​
  • Understand important VOF model extensions​​.
  • Setup and solve VOF simulation tutorial on 2D tank flushing​.
