Introduction to RF Desense with Ansys Electronics Desktop (AEDT) Platform (Self-Paced Learning Available)

Course Overview

This course introduces you to the simulation workflow for radio frequency (RF) desensitization, or “desense”, analysis in Ansys Electronics Desktop (AEDT) platform. Upon successful completion of this course you will understand how complex projects in Ansys HFSS software are used in conjunction with EMIT to mitigate RF desense issues.

Prerequisites

  • No prerequisite is required.
  • Familiarity with simulation concepts and/or Ansys Electronics Desktop (AEDT) platform is helpful.

Teaching Method

This is a self-paced course.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Link designs in Ansys HFSS software to EMIT coupling.
  • Define digital aggressors and RF receivers.
  • Distinguish between narrowband and broadband interference sources
  • Create parametric clock and data signals
  • Evaluate multiple interference sources using “N to 1” cases
