Course Overview

Twin Deployer offers a set of capabilities to make deployment of digital twins easier and faster. Given the variety of possible deployment scenarios, Twin Deployer supports exporting several applications and packages that can facilitate integration of its capabilities into different workflows.

Whether you are a new or a returning user, this course will give you an overview of the different capabilities offered by the tool to facilitate digital twins' deployment, followed by details on the available workflows (Python app, Web app, Container, PTC Agent, etc). It will also introduce you to PyTwin technology, as well as showing how to re-compile twins for execution on Linux-based operating systems. 

Prerequisites

Completion of the following course is highly recommended.

  • Ansys Twin Deployer Getting Started: Basics.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Export and execute application templates that demonstrate how to consume a Twin model through Python code.
  • Export and execute an application template that demonstrates how to consume a Twin model in a Web browser.
  • Export a full Twin Deployer project as an OCI-compliant Container.
  • Export a PTC agent for Twin model execution within PTC ThingWorx.
  • Start using PyTwin technology.
  • Re-compile a Twin model for execution on Linux-based environments.
