Course Overview

This course discusses the methods for Process Integration and Design Optimization (PIDO) and builds upon the foundation set within the course: Parametric Analysis and Optimization. 

This course is especially designed to be used together with an application example from the physics related optiSLang learning room or with an optiSLang Tutorial, for instance from the application help page. 

Prerequisites

  • Parametric Analysis and Optimization. is required. 

Teaching Method

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge. A major emphasis is placed on teaching by software demonstration and on the development of a solution to a design challenge from start to finish.

Learning Outcomes:

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:  

  • Understand the concepts of Process Integration and Design Optimization (PIDO).

  • Understand more about Process Integration, Design Optimization, Sensitivity Analysis and other related concepts.

  • Learn how to perform PIDO tasks using Ansys optiSLang.
