Course Overview

This course shows you how to get started with the co-simulation between dSpace and Ansys software. 

You will learn about the needed pre-requisites; how to install the ASM-to-AVX connector and its dependencies; how to prepare the AVxcelerate Sensors project; how to launch the co-simulation. 

Prerequisites

  • It is recommended to follow the Getting Started of the Sensors Simulator course. 

Teaching Method

Lectures and computer practical sessions to validate acquired knowledge.

Learning Outcome

Following completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand the dSpace and Ansys software needed to co-simulate. 
  • Install the needed software. 
  • Understand the co-simulation library structure. 
  • Understand the Simulation Parameter file. 
  • Understand the ASM Connector Config file. 
  • Set up VEOS and Model Desk. 
  • Launch a co-simulation project.
