Ansys 2022 R1: What's New in Ansys Maxwell

The updates to Ansys Maxwell in Ansys 2022 R1 provides one of its richest sets of new and enhanced capabilities in its history. Maxwell core technology brings new features to address rapidly growing market demands for the electrification sector while extending and enhancing existing capabilities to move even farther the horizon of the simulation opportunities of Maxwell users. Ansys Maxwell brings a new reduced order model on poly-phase electrical machine design integrated into larger electric drive systems.

What Attendees Will Learn

  • Use Ansys Simplorer/Ansys TwinBuilder push-back excitation capability to realize an open-loop simulation in Maxwell transient design for busbar applications
  • Account for temperature feedback on the electronic design using Litz wire modeling
  • Extract a reduced-order model for a 6-phase electrical machine from Maxwell simulation and the benefits to use this model in the system simulation
  • Reduce total time computation using MPI-based skew model 5. Combine efficiency map of motor mode and generator mode for an electrical machine design
