Isothermal and Thermo Mechanical Fatigue
The term thermo-mechanical fatigue covers a wide range of issues and means different things to different people. It can range from small vibration cycles at an elevated temperature to large thermal expansion and creep stresses.
This webinar will explain some of the physics we need to address, and the material response. nCode DesignLife has several solvers to address temperature issues, the Chaboche method being the most advanced will be explained. Two case study examples will be shown.
