Reliable materials data – when and where you need it
Simple tools make it easy to import and manage new information from suppliers. Create and control a source of approved data, ensuring it retains full traceability.
Design and simulation teams need the right materials data as input. That is why many leading engineering enterprises implement Ansys Granta MI for enterprise-wide materials information management. But what if an organization wants to get started quickly, with a focused solution?
Ansys Granta MI Pro makes it easy to build a materials database that combines company-approved proprietary data with valuable reference data from Ansys Granta. The database is accessible through embedded apps in NXTM or Creo® CAD or Ansys Workbench® CAE. Engineers can search materials and assign to their CAD or CAE model in just a few clicks. They can also use a web app to access more detailed property data, reviewing and comparing materials before assignment. Additional benefits include:
January 2025
Ansys Granta MI Pro 2025 R1 brings new polymer material data, a better search experience and a new look and feel in CAD and PLM.
The Global Polymers Reference Data library is now available with MI Pro, along with updates for thermoplastic fluoropolymer materials and enhancements for over 100 records of simulation-ready materials models.
New capabilities have been added for searching across the database, significantly improving the user experience. Custom searches can now be saved and shared, and users can perform more advanced searches by grouping the search criteria.
The user interface for integrations has been enhanced to allow users to create, manage, and publish favorites within the integration. Additionally, it features improved search capabilities directly within the UI of the out-of-the-box integrations for CAD and CAE systems.
