Paper: Materials and Sustainable Development
This White Paper presents a method and a new resource for introducing ideas of Sustainable Development into the teaching of materials science and engineering. Details from the 5-Step process are explained, including articulartions and fact finding. This paper also provides project-based learning ideas for helping students learn to research and analyze complex issues and make good decisions within a social and economic context.
