Eye contour plots were produced for a serial channel using DesignerSI using the verify statistical solver. The eye on the left is the unequalized response while the plot on the right shows the response using feed forward equalization. DesignerSI has built in equalization capability so engineers can assess what level of equalization is needed for a given channel.
